• 02 DAY ISTANBUL (World Heritage Site)

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Visit the Hippodrome, venue of horse chariot races, the Blue Mosque, see beautiful blue tiles, Topkapi Palace and its Harem, home of Ottoman sultans, Hagia Sophia, the best Byzantine architect, and mosaics, explore the Grand Bazaar, which hosts over 3,000 shops. • 06 DAY EPHESUS (World Heritage Site) – CLAROS – KUSADASI

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: The house of Virgin Mary, the incredible city of Ephesus and its colossal Greek Theatre, the Marble Road, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Diana, an ancient sanctuary and the temple of Apollo in Claros. Distance to travel: 150 km. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Accommodation: 4 Star Marina Hotel or similar in Kusadasi.

• 07 DAY PRIENE – MILETUS – DIDYMA – BODRUM

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Drive to Priene, the first planned city in the ancient world, and visit the Theatre, the Temple of Athena, Agora, the Bouleterion, the Zeus Altar. Then proceed to Miletus, the famous Ionian city that had also been visited by St. Paul during his missionary trip. Finally, drive to Didyma to see the well preserved Apollo Temple that had been inhabited only by the priests and suppliants who came to consult the famous oracle there. Distance to travel: 200 km. • 08 DAY BODRUM - HALICARNASSUS

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Visit the Bodrum Castle, which now houses the Underwater Archaeology Museum and Mausoleum of Mausolus. Distance to travel: 10 km. Meal: Breakfast and dinner. Accommodation: 4 Star Hotel in Bodrum.

• 09 DAY KAS - XANTOS (World Heritage Site)

  Visit Kaunos which was an important city and port on the Mediterranean from 400 B.C. until the harbor silted up and the sea retreated 5km to the south. The real highlight in Dalyan is to take a small craft through a maze of reeds in the Dalyan Delta. The delta, with a long, golden sandy beach at its mouth, is a nature-conversation area, and a refuge for large sea turtles (Caretta caretta) and blue crabs. Then continue on to Kas via Fethiye, Patara, and Xanthos. Distance to travel: 330 km. Meal: Breakfast and dinner. Accommodation: 4 Star Hotel in Kas.

• 10 DAY ANTALYA

  Drive to Demre/Myra, to visit its splendidly carved Lycian Rock Tombs overlooking an amphitheater, all dating back to 600 B.C., and the Church of St. Nicholas, the saint referred to as Santa Claus. Sail to Kekova Islands (on a public motorboat) where the sunken city Simena and a noteworthy Lycian necropolis at Teimiussa, located at the slopes of the village of Kale will be seen. • 11 DAY ANTALYA

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Visit Perge, the place where most of the statues that are on display in the Antalya Museum were unearthed and then proceed to Aspendos that bears one of the best-preserved Roman theatres in Anatolia. • 12 DAY APHRODISIAS (World Heritage Site) – LAODICEIA – PAMUKKALE (World Heritage Site)

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Aphrodisias, the city of art and beauty, dedicated to the Goddess Aphrodite, Laodicea, it is one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, Pamukkale or Cotton Castle in Turkish, it is worldwide famous for its white calcium travertine, Hierapolis, the ancient necropolis (city of the dead), Pluto’s Gate or Door to Hell, stay in a spa hotel, where you can swim in the heated pools of enriched mineral water. Distance to travel: 290 km. Meal: Breakfast and dinner. Accommodation: 5 Star Doga Hotel or similar in Pamukkale.

• 13 DAY KONYA – CATALHOYUK (World Heritage Site)

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Visit Catalhöyük, the largest Neolithic and Chalcolithic proto-city settlement, the Whirling Dervish Museum, an exhibition of Dervish costumes, instruments, illuminated manuscripts and various ethnographic artifacts, the Karatay Madrasa, a 13th-century school, now a museum displaying historic ceramics and archaeological relics. • 14 DAY CAPPADOCIA (World Heritage Site)

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Hike in Ihlara Valley and visit the best preserved Selime Monastery, explore Derinkuyu or Kaymakli underground city, see Uchisar rock castle, Pigeon Valley, visit Red Valley and Love Valley. • 15 DAY CAPPADOCIA (World Heritage Site)

  Highlights and visit sites of the day: Optional hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia early in the morning. Cappadocia, unique landscape of volcanic rock formations, amazing underground churches, and cities carved into the rocks by early Christians, going off the tourist track and visit small villages and discover the unknown parts of Cappadocia. Visit Magic Valley, Zelve Open Air Museum, Monk’s Valley and Goreme Open Air Museum, enjoy local cuisine, lunch in Avanos, its also known as potter’s town, visit local workshops to see handcrafts. Cancellations until 2 days prior to activity start are fully refunded and changes can be done without any penalties in this period as long as the change does not influence an associated tour itinerary.

Cancellations cannot be refunded within the last 2 day period prior to activity start. This will apply even if the activity has been purchased in this time period. Likewise changes to activity are not accepted in the last 48 hrs.

Changes and cancellations need to be completed through Ibex Adventure Club customer services, or else they will not be refunded.

Ibex Adventure Club does not offer any cancellation protection, so we recommend everyone to buy a private travel insurance plan covering potential cancellations.
