  We are visiting Stratonikeia, founded on the village of Eskihisar that we even today walk through it with the remains of the ancient city. It has been known as the city of eternal love and gladiators throughout the ages. It was a center where gladiators were trained, did demonstrations and spent their life after retirement. Stratonikeia is home of unique and magnificent structures dating back to Archaic, Classic, Hellenistic, Roman Imperial, Byzantine, Principalities, Ottoman and Turkish Republic periods. Examples of the public, religious and civic structures seen at ancient sites in Turkey are represented in Stratonikeia. As the one of the world’s largest ancient cities made of marble, Stratonikeia is one of the precious settlements with its monumental buildings such as the gymnasium, bouleuterion, theatre, bath complexes, northern city gate and fountain.

Cancellations until 2 days prior to activity start are fully refunded and changes can be done without any penalties in this period as long as the change does not influence an associated tour itinerary.

Cancellations cannot be refunded within the last 2 day period prior to activity start. This will apply even if the activity has been purchased in this time period. Likewise changes to activity are not accepted in the last 48 hrs.

Changes and cancellations need to be completed through Ibex Adventure Club customer services, or else they will not be refunded.

Ibex Adventure Club does not offer any cancellation protection, so we recommend everyone to buy a private travel insurance plan covering potential cancellations.
